A little bit about Me

My Work

My World

Midlife is challenging. I know because I’m living it, too.

I’m not here to present a polished, perfect version of myself. The truth is, my own late 40s brought challenges I never expected. My brain felt like it needed a reboot and various physical symptoms kept cropping up, leading to more doctor visits and late-night research sessions than I can count. It seemed like it hit me all of a sudden. But as I look back, I can spot the fraying threads.

Yes, hormonal shifts are a powerful force, but they’re only part of the story. Midlife is also a time when careers shift, relationships stretch or end, caregiving demands multiply, and the weight of “being everything for everyone” becomes harder to carry. All at a time where our brains and our bodies become hormone hijacked and no longer can be relied on.

Frustrating is not the most fitting “F” word …. it’s no wonder so many women feel overwhelmed, unseen, or unsure of who they are now.

I confess. I have felt this unraveling.

That unraveling?

It’s what lit the fire for me to create this practice.

Because women in midlife deserve more than a pat on the back and a “hang in there.

Therapy with a Coach Approach and Wrap-around support

After almost 30 years as a therapist, I’ve learned this: the hardest part of therapy isn’t what happens in session. It’s what happens between sessions.

I’ve watched clients leave inspired, clear, even relieved — finally seeing what’s been holding them back. That insight is powerful. But here’s the thing: insight alone doesn’t change your life. It has to be integrated into the messy, everyday moments - into the late-night stress, the conversations that push your buttons, the habits that feel impossible to break.

Too often, clients came back the next week discouraged, slipping into the same patterns, weighed down by shame. Not because they didn’t care, and not because they weren’t “trying hard enough.” But because momentum is fragile, and life has a way of pulling us back into old routines.

That’s why I created a concierge model of care. It’s about staying connected between sessions - with check-ins, accountability, and encouragement right when you need it. It’s about helping you carry insight into real life, and building emotional strength while new behaviors take root.

In my own everyday life…

I turn to nature, movement, and creativity to keep myself rooted and real. I love hiking, gardening, and refinishing furniture. I always have a house or landscaping project going to appease my inner artist. Luckily, I have a tolerant family…

These aren’t “perfect Instagram moments.” They’re the messy, meaningful, authentic parts of life that keep me grounded.
